A right swipe and a nice vibe.
A charming face.
But not in a good mental space.

An exchange of few texts.
And a plan was made.
Distance too far, and the idea was bizarre.

To meet at the sunrise.
On a beach with some breeze.
A kind of date, no one could disagree.

I made a good excuse to my mother.
And as I told you about my plan,
That included another excursion after a gala time with you.
You made a mountain out of a molehill.

The atypical date got canned.
Then followed hate speech and verbal abuse.
And realisation that I could never pursue someone like you.

This speed dating was never my thing.
You proved it in a ping.
Maybe I want a beautiful ring and not a fucking fling.

A right swipe and a wrong vibe.
Just another day.
But in a good mental space.
